PROJECT DRTETHE COMPLETE RECORD

PREPARE AT YOUR OWN PACE

Need another set of eyes?

Turn an uncertain situation into a clear question, a record list and a next step. You do not have to accuse anyone or send anything to DRTE.

Your notes stay in this page. This tool does not upload your answers, use AI, save to browser storage or send email. Download or print before leaving. Closing or refreshing may lose your work; your browser may also restore form entries. This is not an encrypted vault or an anonymous channel.

Use a device and browser you trust. Employers, shared devices, extensions, cloud sync and downloaded-file backups may expose activity. The hosting provider can process connection logs. Use roles or initials rather than sensitive identifiers.

For a paper-only version, download the blank worksheet. All entries are optional. Nothing here is reviewed by a person unless you later choose to share it.

1. Start with what you know.

Choose a neutral question. Separate direct observation, someone else’s account and your interpretation. Write “unknown” when needed.

Example: When was my request received, and what response was issued?

Who was involved by role? What happened, where, and when? Include time zone and whether dates are approximate. Use one event per line.

Identify the source by role and date. Keep witness accounts independent; do not show one witness another’s account to make them match.

Use record IDs and source locations, not file uploads. Note page numbers, full messages, attachments and missing context.

Separate documented consequences from estimates. Identify supporting receipts or correspondence without entering medical or other sensitive details.

2. What record might help?

These are prepared research prompts, not AI findings. A suggested record may never have existed, may have been lawfully deleted, or may be restricted. Absence alone does not establish wrongdoing.

Describe the item, relevant date range and possible custodian. Ask for a record, not confirmation of your preferred theory.

Your own records, a public portal, an agency request or permission from the responsible custodian. Possession of a password is not permission to access someone else’s account.

Consider retention, another custodian, a different title, incomplete export or a mistaken premise. Record the next check.

3. Compare, without jumping to a conclusion.

Fictional example: an email says “sent Tuesday”; a receipt says “received Thursday.” Those can both be true. Check what each date represents before calling them contradictory.

What exactly does it state? Include a source ID, date and precise page or timestamp.

What exactly does it state? Include its source reference and whether it is independent of A.

Compare the same event, definitions, time zone and date type. A difference can remain unresolved.

Consider delays, errors, changed circumstances and incomplete context. Failure to prove innocence is not evidence of guilt.

Name a specific record or observation that would change your mind. Keep contrary and exonerating material.

Use a role or record source, without private contact details. Repeated versions of one story are not independent corroboration.

One action: preserve an original, request an attachment, resolve a date, or seek qualified advice. Do not confront or publicly identify someone based on a theory.

4. Review and save your working notes.

Your export contains your entries and research prompts, not a verified conclusion or DRTE receipt. No one at DRTE has received or authenticated the records. Blank fields remain marked “Not entered.”

Downloaded text is not encrypted. Choose a private location and check whether it syncs to other devices. Printing can leave a copy in a printer queue. Clearing this page cannot delete downloads, browser history, backups or monitoring records.

Before you share anything

Two ways forward: if you want help understanding a record, use Ask a Question with a short nonsensitive summary. If you are considering reporting wrongdoing, consider independent legal or professional advice first, then read DRTE’s intake information before choosing whether to contact us.

No anonymity, attorney-client privilege, confidential source protection, legal outcome or response time is promised by this page. Do not send a sensitive file until the recipient, access, retention and transfer arrangements have been clarified. This is general research education, not legal advice or an emergency service.
